UC San Diego was recently awarded a grant to perform work under the California Energy Commission’s “California Initiative for Large Molecule Sustainable Fuels”. The goal of this award is to perform the research and development needed to produce renewable, sustainable, and fungible biofuels that do not compete with food crops.
As part of our CILMSF award, we are holding a Roadmap Meeting, October 18th, 2012 in the CALIT2 Atkinson Hall, on the UC San Diego Campus from 8am – 2pm. Our objective is to lay out a comprehensive framework within which California can “develop a long-term strategy for the identification and development of new research areas and technologies that may be useful for the sustainable production of LMSFs.”
Experts from Government, Industry, and Academia will be our panelists for this discussion and we encourage attendance from all stakeholders and the public!
PLEASE NOTE: Registration is free, but is required to attend this event. Seating is limited so please click the link above to complete the registration form now.
Parking on the UC San Diego Campus can be very difficult, please endeavor to use public transportation or allow plenty of extra time to find parking.
